Terms of Service

1. The service
BirthdayPartyPal lets parents create a children's birthday party invitation, invite families, collect RSVPs, send reminders and manage the party. You must be an adult (18+) to create an account.
2. Your account
You sign in with a link or code sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure. You're responsible for activity on your account and for co-hosts you invite.
3. Price, payment and refunds
- Creating and previewing a party is free. A free trial lets you send real invites to up to 3 families for 48 hours; it needs no card and never turns into a charge. Inviting everyone else, collecting all RSVPs, reminders and the party-night tools require the Party Package: $29 per party, paid once. No subscription, no auto-renew, and you are never charged automatically. Optional add-ons are priced separately on the add-ons screen. Prices include everything listed; applicable sales tax is added at checkout.
- Payments are processed by Stripe; Stripe emails your receipt.
- Refunds: you can request a full refund of the Party Package within 14 days of purchase if no invites have been sent. Add-ons can be refunded within 14 days if unused. After a refund, the features it unlocked stop working for that party. Contact help@birthdaypartypal.com. [Counsel: confirm consumer-law requirements by state.]
4. Acceptable use
Use BirthdayPartyPal only for real parties, and invite only people you know. Don't use it to send spam, advertising, harassment or anything unlawful; don't add phone numbers without permission; don't upload photos you don't have the right to share or that aren't appropriate for families; don't try to access other people's parties or interfere with the service. We may pause or remove a party or account that breaks these rules, and may report unlawful activity.
5. Texting
Texts to your guests go from your own phone (you tap to send them) unless and until the BirthdayPartyPal number is offered for your party. By turning on texts from the BirthdayPartyPal number you confirm you have permission to text the families on your guest list about your party. Families can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Texts are subject to daily and per-party limits and carrier rules; delivery isn't guaranteed.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add (party details, messages, photos). You give us permission to store and display it only to run your party. You're responsible for it being accurate and appropriate.
7. Children
The service is for parents and guardians. Children don't have accounts. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle information about children provided by their parents.
8. Changes and availability
We may update the service and these terms. We'll post changes here and email hosts about significant ones. We aim for the service to be available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted.
9. Disclaimers and liability
BirthdayPartyPal is provided "as is". We aren't responsible for the party itself, for what hosts or guests write, or for missed texts or emails. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected party. 10. Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
